Sustainable Firework
For documenting my performance piece titled Sustainable Firework, I opted to use photography as a medium. Capturing the essence of the performance through visual imagery allowed me to preserve the fleeting moments and convey the energy and excitement of the experience. Once I had the photographs, I decided to take them a step further by printing them using a Riso printer. The unique textures and vibrant colors produced by the Riso ink added an extra layer of depth and visual interest to the images.
To complement the photographs and add a touch of whimsy, I incorporated a creative element using letterpress characters that were no longer needed in the workshop. Inspired by the concept of sustainability and the notion of repurposing materials, I arranged these characters to create a firework-like design. The result was a playful and visually striking representation of a firework, infused with a sense of humor.
